Who Will Win the College Football Playoff Games Today and Tomorrow

Happy New Year, and may God bless you all as you seek his favor!

Here is how the games will go over the next day or two.

Penn State vs. Boise State - Boise State has no business being in this game. I expect Penn State to score early and often. The thing Boise State does best is hand the ball to Ashton Jeanty. He's awesome, but the thing Penn State does best is stop the run, plus they do it with way better athletes than Boise State has. Boise State might score a couple of times, but it will be too little. The only way Boise State pulls the upset is if Penn State gets tight late in the game, but I don't think the game will be close enough in the 4th quarter for that to happen.

Texas vs. Arizona State - The Sun Devils actually have some top caliber athletes. They just don't have enough of them. Sun Devils QB Sam Leavitt said he would prove he is the better QB between the Texas QB and him. There's a saying in the South that goes something like this... Don't let your alligator mouth say things your hummingbird butt can't back up. Sam needs to pay attention to that, especially when Texas has a whole bunch of road graders who can flatten their opponents just like they did Clemson a week or so ago.

Oregon vs. Ohio State - Everybody seems to think Ohio State will win this game because they lost to Oregon 32-31 at Oregon and will have extra motivation to win. Well, they are exactly right! I think that's pretty much what will happen. I expect Oregon to put up a good fight but lose in the end.

Georgia vs. Notre Dame - The Notre Dame of the last several years has been one that would win a lot of games, often make the four team playoff, and get completely hammered by the first team they played. Will this team be any different? Georgia is missing their starting quarterback. The backup QB is more of a runner than a passer. That seems like a recipe for Notre Dame to break through. I think the Irish will play better, but Georgia has SEC athletes, and they are top notch SEC athletes, so I think Georgia will bash their way to a win in a fairly low scoring game.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
