Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears Chicago, and they won. Barely.
Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots in Frankfurt, Germany Indianapolis. The Patriots really should win this game since they are playing against a backup quarterback, but I'm having a hard time picking them against any decent team right now.
Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati. The Texans are playing well. The Bengals are likely missing Tee Higgins, and Ja'Marr Chase has a sore back, but how do you pick the Texans against a team who has really gotten hot the last few weeks? I can't.
Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgh. I don't think Jordan Love is playing well enough to keep the Steelers from winning another close home game. I don't know how, but the Steelers just win.
Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tampa Bay. Last week, I said that Will Levis played well in his NFL debut, and he played reasonably well against the Steelers in his last game, but it's just hard to win on the road in the NFL, especially if you have a rookie quarterback.
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens Baltimore. The Ravens are just hitting on all cylinders, especially at home.
San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars San Francisco. This is a toss-up game if you ask me. The 49ers are on a three game losing streak, but I think they have too much talent to keep losing. I think they will play with great purpose in this game.
New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings New Orleans. The Saints have the better quarterback and a pretty good defense.
Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals Atlanta. I understand Kyler Murray plans to start this game for the first time in about a year. He's not bad, but I expect him to be rusty in his first game back from a leg injury.
Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Chargers Detroit. Justin Herbert is an excellent quarterback, but he rushes his passes quite a lot when he's under pressure, and the Lions have the personnel to put on the pressure.
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys Dallas. It's hammer time, and the Giants are the nail.
Washington Commanders at Seattle Seahawks Seattle. A lot of people say this will be a very close game. I just don't see it. If the Seahawks are good enough to beat the Browns, then they can handle the Commanders.
New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders New York Jets. The Raiders are flying high after winning big last week in the first game for new head coach Antonio Pierce. I had a very hard time picking this game, but I just think the Jets defense will give rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell all kinds of problems. Maybe much maligned Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will score just enough points to win it.
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills Buffalo. The Bills offense is not clicking on all cylinders, but they can click on six out of eight and still beat the Broncos in Buffalo.
May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
